Apply Pesticides Safely and Effectively: The primary responsibility of the Pesticide Applicator will be to apply pesticides in a safe and efficient manner, following all applicable regulations and guidelines. This includes accurately measuring and mixing pesticides, using proper protective equipment, and adhering to proper application methods.

Maintain Knowledge of Pesticide Regulations: The Pesticide Applicator will be responsible for staying up-to-date on all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide use and application. They must ensure that all pesticides are used in compliance with these regulations.

Monitor and Assess Pest Control Needs: The Pesticide Applicator will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the pest control needs of various city properties, such as parks, public spaces, and facilities. This may involve identifying and diagnosing pest problems, determining the appropriate pesticide to use, and creating a treatment plan.

Maintain Records and Documentation: The Pesticide Applicator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of pesticide use, including types of pesticides used, application dates and locations, and any potential adverse effects. They must also maintain records of all required trainings and certifications.

Communicate with Stakeholders: The Pesticide Applicator will be responsible for communicating with various stakeholders, including city officials, community members, and other relevant parties, regarding pesticide use and any potential risks or concerns.

Follow Safety Protocols: The Pesticide Applicator must follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure their own safety and the safety of others. This may include wearing appropriate protective gear, properly storing and disposing of pesticides, and communicating any potential hazards to others.

Participate in Training and Professional Development: The Pesticide Applicator will be responsible for participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and regulations related to pesticide use and application.
